Our class watched out our classroom window for one hour between 8:30 and 9:30 AM. We counted in that time 13 monarch in the butterfly garden and specifically on the purple butterfly bush. We saw a steady strem of monarchs that would stay for about ten minutes and then fly off followed by another. Ocationally they was 2 at a time, but never more than 2. It was a warm day, about 75 degrees sunny and breezy. Beautiful day to watch beautiful creatures. My observation time: I was watching for __1_ hours and _0__ minutes.
