I was thinking about taking my feeders down this evening, because I haven't seen a hummer since the 14th, but low and behold, I spotted a very small, thin, female checking out the three feeders on my front deck. I didn't notice her feeding from any of them. I guess I will continue to keep them up for a few weeks yet. What a surprise!
