I was riding my mountain bike in Sappa Park just east of Oberlin, Kansas on a very windy evening around 6pm. Riding through a thickly wooded part of the park I saw several Monarchs-twenty to forty in the trees I rode through. I'd forgotten how thickly I'd seen them in the same park a year ago. My observation time: I was watching for __1_ hour.
