Sitting on the beach we counted 23 monarchs in one hour...we saw hundreds throughout the week while we were vacationing in Myrtle Beach that week...I was in Monarch Heaven!!! They were flying south, following the ocean/coast. My observation time: I was watching for __4_ hours and __30_ minutes daily.
