Keep those feeders up and stocked... I had not seen any hummingbirds since Sept. 18, but within 5 minutes after I changed the nectar in my feeder today, a female arrived at 12:58 PM. She drank for over a minute, checked out my fuscia (I think she is new to my feeder and plants) and returned to the feeder, only to yield to a yellowjacket. We'll see if she comes back. So nice to know "it ain't over till it's over."
