Most would abort the trip when we arrived at Canelo in pouring rain. But the eight docents from the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum are a tough crew and too eager to explore the wonders of Canelo to let rain stop them! So, together we donned raincoats and sloshed through the grasses, discovering new little streams meandering through the area - and tagged seven monarchs!!! In the rain. First time I ever went tagging with a group in raincoats!
