Laura Miller of Scottsdale saw a female monarch arrive in her yard at 10:30 a.m. this morning and lay eggs on Desert Milkweed, Asclepias subulata. This is the first reported monarch laying eggs in the greater Phoenix area this Fall! My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
