On the equinox, my class went out to do some Fall observations. Here are a few:
The sky was very clear, winds were calm, and the high temperature was 59F (above the seasonal average average.)
Exactly at sun transit (1:49 local time), our meter stick cast a shadow 1.8m (180 cms) long.
