Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/24/2010

Number: 1

After two days of heavy rains and flooding, the female ruby throated hummingbirds are still here! We cleaned and refilled both feeders and right from the start, they are visiting both. The winds are blowing hard today -- up to 35 mph -- so flying around isn't the easiest thing to do. The temperatures have plunged from the mid-70's to the mid-50's. This weekend should be a bit calmer and warmer with Sunday in the mid-60's.
