I had thought the "regulars" had all left 10 days ago, but noticed that one female is still here. I'd suspected it might have been a "traveler," but then noticed that it's particular habits are those of the first female hummingbird which arrives each year. She tends to favor one particular woodland tree above all the others and flies back and forth between it and a honeysuckle where she likes to feed and perch.
