We had the cutest little guy trying to find nectar at our impatiens flowers this a.m. around 11:00. It was very slow flying and sat on the ledge and was lifting his feathers to either get warm or get dry after our record 24 hour rainfall. It let us get close and take photos flew off, came back. He hung around for about twenty minutes. Then he flew up into the maple tree and we didn't see him anymore.
