Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/25/2010

Number: 1

We still have 3 or 4 females coming to our feeders and impatiens. They seem much calmer and almost tame now that the males have left. They will stare, eyeball to eyeball, at our cats who sit in the window watching them. They have been feeding voraciously now for about 2 weeks. We see them throughout the day, more in the morning, though they feed on the impatiens more in the afternoon.
