One sighting of a migrant on 9/25. Last week I didn't notice any hummingbirds in our garden - using their feeder or gleaning nectar. Yesterday afternoon, ca. 5:30 p.m. - as I was counting monarchs at a "Butterfly Garden" maintained by the poweer company (PPL) at the edge of Lake Wallenpaupack - a hummer flew in. It paused at some Buddleia flowers, then zommed away to the north, toward the PPL dam that creates the lake - where it disappeared behind a building.
