A sunny day after several rainy ones. Late this afternoon I saw a single monarch getting nectar from a purple coneflower by the Iowa River just east of Eldora. My dog walked over to sniff the flower, and the monarch left, but it fluttered around and then returned. My observation time: I was watching for 1___ hours and ___ minutes.
