The winds changed to the north today, but was not able to observe any flying. About 6 p.m. tonight, the Monarchs magically started coming down from the sky looking for a place to rest for the night. I had about 35 go up into my trees. I noticed a few deciding to head further south, and a few others in the next couple of blocks going up into the trees. A friend east of town said she had about 100 in her pecan trees. Beautiful weather is forecast for the next couple of days with light northerly winds. Hoping for a nice show of Monarchs! Reported to Monarch Watch.
