After a chilly rain last night, and some drizzle this morning - air temperatures are in the mid 50s. To my surprise, I have a rather sluggish but hungry hummingbird (which I am sure is an immature female) visiting my feeders at my office this morning. I have not had a bird at this location in two weeks.
I have two small window feeders attached to my office window, and those are what it seems to prefer over the larger solitary feeder hanging in lawn.
This location is at 2400' elevation, and because of the drought, several nectar producing flowers have withered away. Keep those feeders fresh!
