9:00 am: One bird at feeder, in a light rain. A brightly colored ribbon hanging closer to the house confused her; the ties at the top are red and appeared to her to be a trumpet flower, I guess. I've noticed this a few times this summer. In my mind, it separates the "regulars" from those just passing through.
