The steady stream of hummers slowed down Sunday morning, september 19th. I did not see another one until Friday the 24th when I saw a female hummingbird drinking from my feeder, only to be chased away by a migratory sharp-skinned hawk that landed on a tree near by. That was the last hummingbird I saw, but I will keep my feeder up for another week or two.
