Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/27/2010

Number: 1

We have two immature Anna's Hummingbirds feeding in the yard. One uses the flowers and feeders in the front yard and the other bird chooses to feed the majority of the time in the backyard, from the sugar-water feeders. This is the latest we have had a continuous presence of hummers in September. Our last sighting of a Rufous Hummer was an immature female on September 18,2010.
