Released a Monarch this morning around 8:40am. It eclosed yesterday but weather conditions precluded release yesterday. This morning, between showers, I turned the warming light on for my butterfly habitat and warmed her up. She was anxious to fly - took her out and released and she immediately headed for the tree tops. We have continued to have showers during the day but not constant rain and the temperature rose to the upper 70's with light SSE breezes. Hopefully all will go well for our 3 'children' that we released this year. God speed & safe travels.
