Children have seen about 30 monarch butterflies flying around our flowers on our campus. On the first grade trip to an apple orchard in West Chester, Pennsylvania on September 21st. Three different groups tallied approximately a total of 48 Monarchs flying through the apple orchards. It was the largest amount of Monarchs we have ever seen in the past 4 years on this trip within an hour and a half. My observation time: I was watching for _1__ hours and __30_ minutes.
