Sunday morning, Sept. 26, 2010, was my last sighting of a hummingbird. It was sitting up on the phone line above my hummingbird garden and then flew down into the flower garden. I will continue to put out a couple of feeders for the migrating hummers...even though I have plenty of flowers right now for them. I have Turks Caps and a Cardinal Climber Vine full of red tubular flowers and several sage plants, Loose Strife, Bougainvilla, a Cypress Vine with white tubular flowers and other plants that are blooming...so there is no shortage of nectar for them. I live in Irving,TX...west of Dallas and east of Ft Worth.
