My wife and I have finished our tagging efforts for another year here in Ontario (including Whitby, Oshawa, Scarborough and Parry Sound). An indication of the increase in numbers of migrating Monarchs this year over
2009 is the fact that, with similar time and efforts in the same parts of the province, in 2009 we tagged about 130, while in 2010 we tagged over 1300.
It is an encouraging rebound!
