Staff member Elaine Whittaker reported watching a faded female monarch "pretty shaky" laying eggs on some equally fading common milkweeds in our Butterfly Garden at the back of the main building, Virginia Living Museum. They sure like to "push the envelope" around here! My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and __2_ minutes.
