Saw a Monarch around my single surviving pot of tropical milkweed a while back, was in a hurry and didn't look for eggs. Time passed, out of town for over a week, out the door to church on sunday & saw numerous BIG caterpillars. After getting home, we found 12 caterpillars. By Tuesday, one is already in a chrysalis, several others are hanging, and only 3 or so are still eating. It felt like Christmas in September!!! Hopefully a dozen southbound young adults in a couple of weeks!!!
