The school children have been observing numerous hummingbirds for the past two weeks. They have placed feeders outside the school. Some days the feeders are refilled 4 to 5 times. The hummingbirds have been coming in about a dozen at a time. Beginning this week (Sept. 26) we have noticed that the numbers have dropped. We also observed that the temperature has dropped. Today (Sept. 28) we observed a hummingbird feeding at 9:00 a.m.
