Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/29/2010

Number: 1

Our students and staff at Bonnie Grimes Elementary are starting to see the monarchs come through. We would like to report 46 total sighted from the last two days. 5 were sighted at Searles Plains which is specifically set aside for wildlife. We are sure they found plenty of food there. Also a student count 14 when his class spent the night at the Ozark Natural Science Center. What a great place for the monarchs to visit. Other than that, it was a couple here and a couple there. We are looking forward to spotting more. Our observation time: we were watching for 0 hours and 40 minutes.
