Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/27/2010

Number: 1

Usually we see monarchs flying south above traffic on a busy street that goes straight north and south. On 9/27 four monarch passed just above the buildings going west. They passed by about one per minute. We watched for an hour but no others went by.

In my garden there is one caterpillar. Many eggs were laid, but plants are undamaged and only a few caterpillars have matured although many eggs were laid. My observation time: I was watching for __1_ hours and __30_ minutes.
