There were 5 monarch butterflies actually flying South around noon. The butterflies did not land on any of the surface grass or trees, but they actually flew west for a time to the end of the field, and then actually lifted up to go over the trees and flew off due South. The students were watching them for about 10-15 minutes and when brought to my attention, I also watched them. They were definitely Monarchs. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and _10-15m__ minutes.
