I saw several monarchs (between 100 and 125) going in a south-southwest direction on Sept. 28, 2010. Most were very high in the air and about 100 to 300 yards between. Only a few stopped in a tree that I could see, and left after only a few minutes. This was between 5:30 and 7:00 pm. My observation time: I was watching for __1_ hours and _30__ minutes.
