I saw 2 hummingbirds at about 7:30 a.m. the morning of September 29, 2010, feeding at my hummingbird feeders and the orange trumpet honeysuckle and hot pink geranium and Firecracker vine.

The last few weeks the hummingbirds have shown up at about 7 in the morning, but on the 29th of September, they didn't show until 7:30.

On the evening of the 26th of September I had 4 hummingbirds in my yard and the following morning I counted 3. On the evening of the 28th there was very little hummingbird activity in my yard. I saw one hummingbird at 5:30 p.m., and that was it.

I think they have departed for the south. I did not see any hummingbirds the rest of the day or evening of September 29, nor today, September 30. It is about 90 F here today and will be about the same temperature for the next few days.
