Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 09/30/2010

Number: 36

Noticed a few Monarchs in the air around my home in San Angelo today but noticed several dozen this evening while at a ballgame in Blackwell,Texas. Also saw several dozen roosting. Blackwell is about 70 miles north of San Angelo. After returning home from the ballgame, checked the trees around my home for Monarchs and found several dozen roosting in an oak tree.

First significant sighting.
