Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/01/2010

Number: 1

10:30am...Took front feeder in... cleaned & refilled it wih lukewarm sugar water... even with the sun out.. it's a little chilly out today.
By the time I got it hung back up a RT female flew down & started drinking from it..
So I think she was watching the whole process..
and didn't even mind that I was only a foot away watching her..

When I cleaned & refilled the feeders on back deck saw 1 RT female & a RT juvenile male...
wonder if they were mother & son because they flew away together?

I am very surprised & pleased to know the Hummers are still here... & cherish every moment I catch a glimse of them.. After they'er gone it's always so loooong of a time until they return in April.
