Starting about September 26th, the ELL students in my classes in Springdale, Arkansas, began to report seeing one-four monarchs at a time, on the playground, around their homes, and even in the mall. Our daytime temperatures just got into the 70's during the day, and we are seeing more monarchs flying through. My observation time: I was watching for ___2 hours and _30__ minutes.
