The Monarchs have hit Dallas! I've had 1 to 2 Monarchs each day most of the year hanging around the garden, but today I counted 7 at once nectaring in the garden on Frostweed (just blooming now) and Gregg's Mist Flower. Observed several flying high in the sky and whizzing past the garden - not stopping. They are definitely passing through. For those who are into butterfly gardening, Gregg's Mist Flower is a must as this plant attracts them like nothing else. Queens too. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
