Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/02/2010

Number: 1

Today was a beautiful fall day. Perfectly clear blue sky and temperatures in the mid 60s. No wind. I saw a lone monarch butterfly flying along the coast of Long Island Sound at the Avery Point campus, a branch of the University of Connecticut. It was flying over the land but right along the water line. My observation time: I was watching for __0_ hours and __5_ minutes.
