Saw two hummingbirds at the feeder this morning. Have had to refill the feeder up to two times a week until last week. We had a cool morning on 09/28/10. I looked out at the feeder in the am and a puffed up cold looking hummingbird was sitting on it shaking. I went out and took a few pictures close up and it did not move so, I decided to pick up the feeder with the hummingbird on it and put it in a box with a hot pad to warm it up. The bird did not move for about 40 minutes and during this time it gradually unpuffed its feathers and was then strong enough to fly away. I was able to take a few pictures of it close up while it was warming up. Neat experience!
