My husband and daughter were at the water lily gardens in San Angelo, Texas about 6:00pm this evening and there were thousands flying around and roosting mostly in the cypress tress close to the river. They were beautiful.

Editor’s Note: We are estimating a minimum of 2000 monarchs based on observer’s estimate of “thousands.”
