Saw 35+ monarchs throughout the day (from 8 am till noon and again from 3 to 4:30 pm) at West Meadow Beach. Three were puddling, about ten were flying high, the rest were feeding on seaside goldenrod. I caught and tagged ten butterflies. My observation time: I was watching for __5_ hours and _30__ minutes.
