Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/28/2010

Number: 1

We sighted five "new" Monarchs that have just emerged. It was a sunny day between rains. There was a Monarch sighting a large migration sighting out on the Eastern Shore, two weeks prior so we thought they had all gone. We have some Chrysalis that are in our yard that may winter over. We have had continious rain for almost 10 days so there will not be enough sun for the new ones to dry out their wings. My observation time: I was watching for _4__ hours and __5_ minutes.
