Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/03/2010

Number: 1

While sitting outside in the warm sun today, I saw NO Monarch's at all . There was a flock of Geese flying South. We went to a local State Park this afternoon for a MONARCH presentation. Thanks to "Amy" for answering our questions about Monarch Butterflies. She was very helpful. She apologized for not having any live Butterflies, the weather here hasn't been in our favor for viewing Butterflies and we understood. However, even though we saw no Monarch's, the cabbage loopers are still quite active today. It is 5:20 P.M. the temp is 67 degrees, sunny, and very breezy. Tonight is predicted to drop into the lower 40's.
