While outside removing the protective sheets from all my salvias, cupheas, and agastaches first thing this morning there were four hummers ready to feed at the blooms. One hummer may have left southward today, but late this afternoon I still spotted three feeding and chasing. My late season numbers have been very good. Last year my last hummer sighting was October 16th.
