Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/01/2010

Number: 1

Monarchs are being spotted everywhere now. Students participated in catch and release observing several that had very worn wings. One was so worn out we wondered how it could even still fly. The cold front has pushed them to the west of our location we believe, but our counts indicate about 75 per hour. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
