My lone female hummer was joined by another hummer today, but I saw it so briefly from the back that I do not know if it was a male or female. It dive-bombed the female as she was on a window feeder. It was very cold here last night, so I brought my two window feeders in early this morning, poured the nectar into a cup, and microwaved it very briefly to take off the chill. The little female made numerous trips to the feeders all during the day,
