We saw a couple of hummingbirds at the fireweed in our front yard during the middle of September and so I left our hummingbird feeders out to see if we would attract any hummingbirds migrating South. On Sunday, October 3rd 2010 my wife said that she saw a hummer at the feeder. Today, October 4th, 2010 I happened to glimpse a hummer at the feeder briefly before he/she flew off. So I and waited by the window for the hummer to return. 15 minutes later he did return and kept returning about every 15 minutes. He appears to be a juvenile male Calliope and I was able to get pretty good photos and video footage.
