Only handfuls today. But you'd only have to watch the sky for 2 or 3 minutes to see 15 or 20, pretty widely dispersed. Very few stopped to say "Hello." I think they may have been roosting Saturday to escape the mid-day heat. (Roost reported) Today was overcast, much cooler, with a good deal more wind. Cooler temperatures and recent rains have rejuvenated the vegetation in the area, with some fall flowers blooming, but I don't know what they may be finding in the way of a significant nectar source. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and _15__ minutes.
