The children found a monarch caterpillar in our garden. We took it in and fed it milkweed vine. It pupated and hatched. We fed it sugar water and let it go three days after hatching. It flew away immediately.
We watched it for three days in a large butterfly flight cage before releasing it. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and _5__ minutes.
