We found a monarch caterpillar on some milkweed. We put it in a jar with some milkweed leaves. It turned into a chrysallis on either Sept. 24 or 25 --- we were out of school for the weekend, so we don't know which day. It came out of the chrysallis on Oct. 4 and we let it go so it could feed and fly to Mexico.
