Spotted what looked like a large bird of prey above Alligator Bayou, a small bayou off St Andrew's Bay at Naval Station Panama City, FL. I watch many large birds here including Turkey Vultures, Osprey and Brown Pelicans but this one was different. Was able to verify via binoculars it was indeed a mature American Bald Eagle. The eagle then swooped down and snatched up a fish and made for a group of pine trees on the opposite bank. I've heard there are eagles here but that was my first personal sighting. Beautiful!
