Today is the 6th and I waited to report this October 3rd sighting thinking it might be my last, and I haven't seen a hummer since. It was brief in the morning and none in the evening, which didn't follow the pattern.
The weather has turned cold quickly, although we are supposed to have a moderately warmer weekend, I think now we will just have to wait until spring.
